Scripture: Proverbs 6:30-35
Men do not despise a thief if he steals to satisfy his hunger when he is starving. Yet if he is caught, he must pay sevenfold, though it costs him all the wealth of his house. But a man who commits adultery lacks judgement; whoever does so destroys himself. Blows and disgrace are his lot, and his shame will never be wiped away; for jealousy arouses a husbands fury, and we will show no mercy when he takes his revenge. He will not accept any compensation; he will refuse the bribe, however great it is.Comments:
We know that we are the bride of Christ, and he is the husband; so if we do not serve him, or live for him we are committing spiritual adultery. Reading the scripture above, we see that jealousy arouses a husbands fury and he will show no mercy when he takes revenge. Wow! That is pretty scarey to me.What thoughts does this scripture bring to your mind? Please leave a comment.
